Sound and Lighting Queensland is more then just a true Australian owned business, It is truly local, 1ocally owned and locally operated.  

SLQ has been operating as a self evolving entity for four years, and due to its growth, recently moved its location from its Northside sanctuary to Sumner Park.  We now offer our vast experience and knowledge to the much wider and unsupported communities of Ipswich City, the Western Suburbs of Brisbane, the Lockyer and Brisbane Valleys. 

SLQ offers many services.  Our retail store, positioned on Spine Street offers various PA, huge range of lighting effects, smoke machines, Microphones and DJ equipment. 

Our Hire department positioned in the rear warehouse of our building has a comprehensive range of audio equipment and lighting, to support everything from your everyday mum and dad party to your next corporate event. 
 

We also have our own team to service all avenues of installed audio and visual.  Sound and Lighting QLD has been involved in many new installations for home and commercial audio and visual. SLQ is proud to display, Caxton Hotel stages 1 & 2, Woodlands of Marburg, Brothers Leagues Club, Ross Llewellyn Motors, Kruger State School, Rolscar Smash Repairs, Embassy Hotel, UQ Sport and John Holland Construction,  as a few of our recent installations.  Not all our installs are local.  We have installed as far as Roma and over seas, (Fraser lsland and Eurong Beach resort).  
 

All Hugh’s staff strive to ensure a professional and enjoyable experience from conception of an idea, planning and completion in all events in which they are involved.  Some of their recent involvements in events are Ipswich Regional Chamber of Commerce, Bendigo Bank Business Awards Ipswich City Council, Centenary Rocks River Festival, Centenary Salvation Army Carols, Sherwood Street Festival, State and Private Schools and with many other business identities in this region.
 

Sound and Lighting QLD has supported many charity events to maintain a good balance within the local community, such as Kim Walters Choices Foundation, Wesley Hospital, and Kids with Cancer to cover a few.  SLQ is supported by a dedicated team, Sales and Hire Manager Paul Watson, Installation and Service Manager Daniel Soper and our unspoken support crews.
